As always, our sample sales are by-appointment only. We'll have a Style Consultant on-hand to help you dig through the samples, so you won't have to!

With the start of football comes the beginning of fall. Yay for Autumn! We're here to tell you about the trends you should look out for this season. Just look at the dapper Mr. Cunningham... yes sir.

FALL 2012 TRENDS

Double-breasted Suits.

Milan's runways lent themselves to slim double-breasted suits and animal-print sweaters. Yes, gentlemen, double-breasted is making a major comeback. Single-breasted remains a stiff contender, however.

The Three-Piece Suit.

If you haven't visited  9tailors before, you know not of our love for the three-piece. GQ calls this out as the Fall must-have. And why not? It looks great with all three pieces showing and when you take your jacket off to showcase that sharp vest. And to reiterate, gray is the best versatile color out there. Seen below on Jermaine—wicked shahhhhp.

If you already have enough suits in your closet but need that vest for a finishing touch, you can always opt to get one in a complementary color. Gray suit? Go for a navy vest. Brown suit? Try a tan vest. Or if you're feeling frisky, try a checked or pin-stripe pattern to give some oomph to your ensemble. 

Conversation-Starting Shoes

Shoes that make a statement, according to NYMag, are in this Fall. Check the foot-candy on Jermaine!
Now, this is a touchy subject, some of the shoes on the runways are obviously not conservative enough for business meetings and the like, but you can dress up your feet with a bit of pizazz just in detail or texture, rather than going all out on funky designs and colors that scream.

Shearling Coats

Did you see The Dark Knight Rises? Did you notice how dope Bane's jacket was? We'll be seeing lots of faux-fur lined jackets and shearling coats this fall. Think grungy, lumberjack, living-in-the-woods-and-being-a-man's-man. Not to mention, a coat like this looks badass paired with a suit or jeans.

Studio Updates: August

Just wanted to write up a quick reminder about all the events and activities going on at 9tailors!

First, we still have a khaki promotion going on until the end of the month. Get yourself out of that droopy, sagging, pair of parachute pants and into a finely tailored pair. You should be showing off your assets in every pair of pants you wear.

Second, if summer has officially drained your bank account we have a solution for that too. The eagerly anticipated sample sale is here! Making killer threads available to everyone regardless of the size of their bank account has always been a goal of 9tailors. This sample sale is just another way we wanted to remind you we care.

We're holding a sample sale!

Get yourself into some quality threads at sinful prices. As we continue to grow we need some more space, so we're selling off the samples, already-made pieces, and excess inventory! Great quality garments, that you are no doubt craving more of by now, at bargain prices. 'How low can we go,' you ask? Drum roll please..

Now, this will be no ordinary sample sale. No tearing garments away from your friends iron grip, no rooting through decaying cardboard boxes, and no creepy warehouses. This will be a organized, not to mention civilized, affair. As men and women wearing bespoke clothing can not be expected to root through boxes of samples.

We will be taking appointments to eliminate the threat of death by stampede. These will be 30 minutes long and, as usual, you will be guided by a style consultant who will help you choose the best garments for your body, coloring, and lifestyle. She will also help you work through the racks to find which garments are most likely to fit you. We will be happy to perform any necessary alterations at cost or feel free to take it to your second favorite tailor.
