How to Impress your Valentine

9tailors is excited to announce our Valentine's Day Giveaway! All you have to do is create a video (no more than 1 minute, please) or write a few lines (no more than 50 words, please) on why you or your special someone should win a free suit. Then, send it to me at alycia@9tailors.com. 

 From there, the 9tailors team will judge the best submission and choose one lucky winner!  
The chosen story will win the honor of designing a custom suit with their very own 
Style Consultant at the 9tailors studio. 

Write it, rap it, sing it, scream it - then send it. We only ask for creativity. Don't forget to include a photo with your submission! What better way to show your special someone you care than entering them in a giveaway this Valentine's Day? 

Single? No worries, we never discriminate. Go ahead and submit yourself—
we respect the independent men and women of the world.

Rules and Restrictions:

• Must submit entry or video before February 7, 2013 11:59 PM EST
• Winner will be notified on February 14, 2013 and must respond by February 21, 2013. 
• Limit to one submission and nomination per person.
• Participants must consent to having their story published online.
• Participants must be 18 years or older to participate.
• Prize valued at $500 ($500 for the suit). Winner may also opt to order a tuxedo, but must pay the difference.
• Must be able to come to the 9tailors studio in downtown Boston for fitting/appointment(s).
• No other compensation will be given.
• Prize is non-refundable for cash or cash equivalent and cannot be combined with other 9tailors sales or promotions.
• Other program rules and restrictions may apply.

Valentines Giveaway!

Create video (no more than 1 minute, please) or write a few lines (no more than 50 words, please) on why you or your's should win the free outfit and send it to me at kathryn@9tailors.com.  I will then submit you to public scrutiny through our Facebook page.  There you will be tried by your peers and only one will be successful.  Don't forget to include a photo!

Bribe, threaten, coax, plead, and demand that everyone you know votes for your story.  The story with the most 'likes' will win the honor of designing a custom outfit with their very own style consultant at the 9tailors studio.

We were so moved by the story Jason's wife, Olivia, wrote to us. Here's a small excerpt from Olivia's nomination. Olivia writes:

Meet Jason. He’s the guy our little girl is running to greet at the door. The guy that lights up our home with his good-natured personality.  The guy that makes this house a home.  You’ve probably met men like Jason before. Maybe you’ve even overlooked them. They seem to have it all together. The charming smile, the pleasant demeanor, the classy sense of style.  (Most of us don’t have a chance to peek inside their closets. If we did, we’d probably be surprised at how they make do with so little.)

Everyone had such amazing stories to tell. It was very difficult to choose just one. So, we would like to give a special thanks to all of you who entered in our Valentine's Day Giveaway. It was such a pleasure reading everyone's heartfelt stories on the day/week/month that we celebrate love. What a fantastic reminder of how many amazing people there are in our lives.

Valentines Day Giveaway Reminder!

Nominate that special guy in your life (husband, boyfriend, fiance, brother, etc.) for a chance to win a free custom dress shirt and suit (valued at $600). The winner can also opt to design a tuxedo - just need to pay the difference. Why? Because we think he should look good too!

Please send us a short essay (about 200-500 words) or video (about 2-5 minutes) on why he deserves a free custom outfit. For instance, does he work at a non-profit and may not be able to afford a custom clothing? Did he recently overcome an extraordinary situation? Or, does he simply need a wardrobe upgrade? Go ahead. Tell us!

We’ll select one winner from the bunch.

Steps to Entering:

1. Fan us on the 9tailors Facebook page. Leave a brief comment on why he should win. If you already a fan, thanks in advance!
2. Then, submit a short essay (about 200-500 words) OR video (about 2-5 minutes) on why he deserves a free custom outfit to kathryn@9tailors with the subject heading: “Valentine’s Day Giveaway”. Your e-mail should contain the following:

• Full Name of nominator and nominee (you can nominate yourself)
• Photo of the nominee
• Contact e-mail of nominator and nominee
• Winner will be notified by e-mail
